I've always loved stories, and grew up listening to storytellers, old fishermen acquaintances of my dad who would spin tall tales from the most unlikely events.
When I started having my own adventures it made sense to write about them, and 'english' lessons soon became my favourite school subject.
A few years ago I was invited to be a regular contributor to duckrabbit blog (duckrabbit are a socially responsible multimedia and training company) and this has been a great encouragement to write more ambitiously and on a greater range of subjects.
You can view the range of work on duckrabbit's blog here. An edited selection of my writing is available, roughly sorted by content, via the links at left.
I occasionally dabble in poetry as well, usually what I call 'angry poetry', verse that is prompted by a sense of dismay or unease at some event or other.
There's a few pieces available via the links at left.
